THE GYLA WAY TO YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT:

Inspire and empower youth as future leaders for engagement in the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

“All our hopes for a better world rest on young people. The world is home to the largest generation of young people. Sustainable development, human rights, peace and security can only be achieved if we empower these young people as leaders. The United Nations must empower young people, increase their participation in society and their access to education, training and jobs.” -- António Guterres, UN Secretary-General

"We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future" (Franklin D. Roosevelt ). GYLA endeavors to be a better builder than a program or an organization. GYLA focuses on maximizing the potential of today’s youth, realizing their professional greatness, and building them as systems  thinker, social innovators, change makers and future leaders for a better World. GYLA holds to the principle of "GYLA of the Youth, by the Youth and for the Youth, and aims to inspire and empower youth to engage in achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and particularly, provides, in alignment with SDG4, the inclusive and equitable quality education for all young people in the world.

Of the Youth

GYLA nurtures a culture that fosters and values ownership. Ownership is the key to GYLA success, thus, young people are encouraged to take ownership of GYLA and to act on the GYLA's values and programs that impact the results. They are also accountable for their own results of their actions.

By the Youth

When young people embrace ownership of GYLA, they take responsibility for GYLA's future and growth, they enhance their capacity to lead and manage GYLA programs, and to improve the quality of GYLA products and services. GYLA has been governed by dream team since its foundation.

For the Youth

GYLA is a unique platform which offers the opportunity for all young people who aspire to become global leaders for social change. GYLA promises to be the guiding light of the youth,  the stepping stone of the youth, and to make youth realize their dreams in the future.
